National Bank of Ethiopia Policy Reform will be Announced!

National Bank of Ethiopia Policy Reform

The National Bank of Ethiopia policy reform is going to be announced soon ; the Bank stated that it has completed the reform which would help to stabilize the financial sector, and it  will be announced soon enough.

The National Bank of Ethiopia Policy Reform have Three Focus Points

Out of the three issues  the legal reform work to strengthen its supervisory authority and enable it to operate with better institutional independence holds the first place.

The second is the bank has to give the needed attention to “digitization and human capital development” similar to the other finance sector actors is the second key issue to further improve its human resources.

The third and fundamental one is the policy reforms, and further policy reforms to stabilize the monetary policy and the financial sector will be completed and announced soon said the National Bank Governor Mamo Mehretu at the ceremony of the official dispatch of the capital Financial Excellence Center establishment, the Governor also stated that the  National Bank of Ethiopia policy reform  is on trial to start and will be finalized soon.

 On the other hand, the Bank’s financial sector is working to make the payment system as modern and digital as possible, Mr. Mamo emphasized that the NBE’s key objective is to make the sector healthy, accessible, and modern and more over creating a cashless society is a key goal of the National Bank.
